Editing difficulties

Editing was the area of our film which we found most difficult and therefore spent most time on. However the hours have paid off and we credit ourselves on our on point continuity editing! The following are problems we encountered:

We used GarageBand to add music to our opening . We had issues before using music off YouTube due to it being being Copyrighted. Editing the sound was hard due to moments of tension no coinciding  with the moments of tension is our film, meaning we had to copy and paste the slip several times and crop it, positioning moments in the appropriate places

We also had to crop moments out to deliver good continuity editing. We used quick transitions eg)jump cuts to allow a quick pace, continuity had to be on point for the opening to make sense 

We had issues with footage from different days having different lighting. Therefore we heightened the saturation and contrast.
